As the graphic designer behind Sahara Beauty’s striking new identity, the central aim was to establish a luxury brand presence that felt both bold and timeless, reflecting the elegance and modern sophistication expected in Riyadh’s competitive beauty market.
Logo Design and Inspiration
The new logo combines a custom serif wordmark with an elegant “SB” monogram. The monogram was carefully crafted with interlocking geometry, symbolizing unity and refinement. Its sleek proportions were designed to remain instantly recognizable whether embossed on packaging, displayed digitally, or used as a standalone mark. This balance of bold lines and delicate curves communicates both confidence and femininity, aligning with Sahara Beauty’s positioning as a premium cosmetics brand.
Colour and Typography Choices
The brand’s core palette blends deep plum (#5A2A5D) with rich gold (#D4AF37). Plum evokes luxury, mystery, and bold femininity, while gold reinforces timeless prestige. Together they create a high-contrast pairing that signals exclusivity. Typography pairs a refined serif for logotypes and headlines with a clean sans serif for supporting text, ensuring clarity while maintaining an aura of luxury. Script accents were added sparingly to introduce elegance and softness without overpowering the identity.
Packaging and Application
Sahara Beauty’s packaging was designed to deliver a sense of indulgence and high-end craftsmanship. Lipstick tubes, palettes, and foundations feature embossed gold monograms against plum or neutral backgrounds. Shopping bags and promotional materials carry the tagline “Born Bold. Made Timeless.” in a prominent yet understated way. The application extends seamlessly to digital assets, including banners, social media headers, and motion-ready visuals, ensuring a consistent identity across all touch points.
Brand Messaging
To complement the visual identity, the tagline “Born Bold. Made Timeless.” was introduced to encapsulate the brand’s values. This message speaks directly to Sahara Beauty’s audience: bold women seeking timeless elegance. It reinforces the brand’s promise of confidence and sophistication while anchoring all campaigns with a consistent voice.
Positioning
This comprehensive branding effort positions Sahara Beauty as more than a cosmetics line—it becomes a luxury experience. From packaging to digital presence, the brand now projects confidence, exclusivity, and timeless elegance, setting it apart in a crowded market and giving the client a launch-ready system that resonates with high-end consumers.
